MARS

INTRODUCTION

Whenever we listen the word mars the first thing which come in our mind is Aliens or a planet similar to Earth etc. but the mars is totally different from our imagination. Mars also known as 'Red planet' because of presence of iron peroxide. It is the fourth planet from the sun and second smallest planet on the Earth. It is a place where the probability of life is high. Scientist are trying to discover more and facts about mars. Mainly volcanoes and craters are present on the surface of it. A large number of volcanoes on the surface of mass is also reason why it seems to be red. Mars (Greek :Ares) God of war. The rotational period and seasonal cycles of Mars are likewise similar to those of Earth, as is the tilt that produces the seasons. Mars is the site of Olympus Mons, the largest volcano and second-highest known mountain in the Solar System, and of Valles Marineris, one of the largest canyons in the Solar System. The smooth Borealis basin in the northern hemisphere covers 40% of the planet and may be a giant impact feature. Mars has two moons, Phobos and Deimos, which are small and irregularly shaped. These may be captured asteroids, similar to 5261 Eureka, a Mars trojan.
There are ongoing investigations assessing the past habitability potential of Mars, as well as the possibility of extant life. Future astrobiology missions are planned, including the Mars 2020 and ExoMars rovers. Liquid water cannot exist on the surface of Mars due to low atmospheric pressure, which is about  ⁶⁄₁₀₀₀ that of the Earth's, except at the lowest elevations for short periods. The two polar ice caps appear to be made largely of water. The volume of water ice in the south polar ice cap, if melted, would be sufficient to cover the entire planetary surface to a depth of 11 meters (36 ft). In November 2016, NASA reported finding a large amount of underground ice in the Utopia Planitia region of Mars. The volume of water detected has been estimated to be equivalent to the volume of water in Lake Superior.
Mars can easily be seen from Earth with the naked eye, as can its reddish coloring. Its apparent magnitude reaches −2.91, which is surpassed only by Jupiter, Venus, the Moon, and the Sun. Optical ground-based telescopes are typically limited to resolving features about 300 kilometers (190 mi) across when Earth and Mars are closest because of Earth's atmosphere.

1. Mariner 4, was first who fly by Mars on 14 July 1965 although it fails to achieve its target location . It was launched by United states of America on 28 November 1953.

2. Mariner 6 was launched on 25 November 1965 by USA.

3. Mariner 7: It was launched on 27 March 1969 by USA.

4. Viking 1 (orbiter) and Viking 1 (lender): These space crafts are launched by NASA on 20 August 1975.

5. Viking 2(orbiter) and Viking 2(lender): These are also launched by USA on 9 September 1975.

6. Mars Global Surveyor : Another spacecraft sent by America on 7 November 1966.


 

Moon A Mysterious place

 

INTRODUCTION:

Moon, an astronomical body moving around the Earth. We can often see it when the sun sets and the darkness cover the whole sky then moon brings a brightness on earth. It is the inspirational source for many of the poets over times. Men from his early time want to know more and more about an astronomical body which is moving so close to earth and also about its varying sizes and amount of lights. Moon is the fifth largest and second densest natural satellite. Moon is thought to have formed 4.51 billion years. Moon or we can say 'Luna' rotates synchronously with the Earth which is the cause that only one face of the moon is visible to us. It happens due to its same time consumption for both rotation and revolution. Earth takes about 24 hours for a rotation on its on axis but about 365 days for 1 complete revolution. While moon takes 24 hours for both rotation on its own axis and revolution around the Earth. Moon has a gravitational impact on the Earth. It is estimated that after the passage of time(about 50 million years) the Moon would take more time, about 47 days to complete its revolution around the Earth as the distance between Earth and Moon is increasing with respect to time that is 8.3 centimeters annually. Not only quakes on Earth are observed due to the gravitational pull of Moon but also there occurs quakes on Moon due to gravitational interference of Earth. Its is weird that Moon has gravitational pull to cause quakes on Earth but is not able to create atmosphere around it. The first person who reach the surface of moon is Neil Armstrong.

Mysterious things about moon:

 1. In 1972 NASA had sent an Apollo 16 mission on the moon. The live telecast of this mission was shown on the Earth. Very few people know that this live telecast was stop for 2-3 minutes because the astronauts reported that at that time some space ship landed on the moon. They reported that some other creature are also present on the moon. After this mission it started believing that there is a colony of aliens in the moon and they don't want us to go on moon. The strange thing is that after this mission NASA has never sent any spacecraft on moon.

2.  In 2014, a video was uploaded on the internet. In this video a large shadow is shown on the surface of moon. This video became so much popular among the people in one week about 20 lakh users has seen this video. In this video it is shown that at a specific coordinates on the google moon a large shadow can be seen on the surface of moon. It may be the aliens. For further information it is found that the size of that object whose shadow is seen is about 150 feet. NASA always escape to talk about it.

3. A alien base like thing was also seen on the surface of the moon by a satellite launch by the America in 1994. In the photo there were seven lights which were lightning in strange manner. They were not natural in any way. NASA ignored this by saying that it was just the fault of camera nothing else.



These all things show that some unusual is present on the moon and the governing bodies of our societies doesn't want us to see it.

 

Lake Baikal (world deepest lake)

LAKE BAIKAL:

One of the world most driest and coolest part is Siberia in Russia. The world deepest lake or world's oldest lake or the world's largest freshwater lake(in volume) is situated in Siberia. This lake is known as lake Baikal. It is a mysterious lake. Several mysteries are related to this lake. It is also known as 'Pearl Of Russia'. It is rift lake which is about 25 million old. Scientist think that this lake was formed due to the movement of tectonic plates. According to survey it is that it contain about 20% fresh water of the world. The water in this lake is so pure that it shines like a pearl. In 1996 the UNESCO had given it the right of world heritage.

SOME FACTS ABOUT THE LAKE BAIKAL:

Location: Mountainous Russian region of Siberia, North of Mongolian boarder.

Area       : About 31,722 km square.

Maximum depth: 1,642 km square.

Water volume: 23,615.39 km cube or 5.670 cu mi.

Fishes: Omul, Arctic Gravling, Baikal sturgeon.



Mysteries Related to this lake:

1. Many people say that this lake was not made by the movement of tectonic plates but it was formed when a large space rock strikes in that part of Russia. Some people says there is a monster which live inside the lake. Several time the fishermen and local residents reported that they had seen  a face of black monster coming out of the lake. It is also said that several time mysterious light (may be the light of UFO )are also seen on the lake side. This light sometime moves at the depth of the lake and than disappears. Some time flying objects also seen coming out from  the depth of lake.

2. The local resident of that area reported also, that they had seen a spaceship in the lake. They said that this ship was floating on the surface of the lake. When this news was sent to the higher governing bodies than they send a team of navy officers to investigate the lake. When the officers move about 164 feet deep inside the lake they meet with the silver suit people. When they came nearer to silver suit people they attack on them and kill 3 navy officers and 2 officers injured badly. Due to this incident it is thinking that there is a secret alien base inside the lake.

3. Like Bermuda triangle, some ships were also became lost in the lake. Some part of the lake is magnetic area. It is said that lost ships attracted toward this area and became invisible. Local people believes that this all abnormal things are happening because of a curse.

4. In 2009 many round circles were also observed on the surface of the lake. Why and how these circles made? Nobody knows the answer of this question.

These whole things indicates us that the Baikal lake is a complete mystery and we have to reveal the mystery of the lake. May be it became the medium to communicate with the aliens...............!

Pyramid of Egypt

 At present we feel proud when we see the large buildings made by us(modern man), like, statue of liberty etc.. It shows how advanced we have become. But there are some buildings present in world which prove that we are still kids in front of our ancestors. Our ancestors were much more intelligent than us. Their achievements in science and engineering were much more than ours. Several buildings were built before thousands of years ago but they are still standing and are mystery for us because at present time buildings hardly last for 100 years. The pyramids of Egypt are also the example of such buildings. The pyramids of Egypt were made to put the mummy's of great rulers of Egypt. Many things like food, gold and sometime the servants were also buried with the king, so that after death king doesn't have to face any problem in their afterlife. The Egyptians think that the life doesn't end after the death. They thought that they can carry their richness and wealth after their death along with them. So these pyramids were made to treat the kings as God. There are about 138 pyramids in Egypt. Out of which The Great Pyramid of GIZA is in the list of the seven wonders of the ancient world. As the design of all the pyramid of Egypt is quite same but the great pyramid of Giza is quite different from them. This pyramid was the grave of great king Khufu.
It is also known as Khufu's pyramid.

The facts that make the pyramid of Giza so much special:

1. As  the construction of The Great Pyramid Of Giza take approximately 20 to 23 years. And it was made by the stone weighing 2 to 20 ton.  It is still a mystery that without using machines or any other technology how the people of ancient time put those stones to a height of 450 feet.

2. This pyramid is one of the oldest building standing today. For about 3200 years it was the world's tallest man made building. It is still a mystery that without the use of technology and only with the use of stones how can people of Egypt create so much long lasting building.

3. The pyramid is made by almost 25 lakh stones and they are carried from the mountains to the desert. It shows that many workers are required for this. According to a historians, workers had to work approximately more than 10 hours per day and they have to work for whole year without any break. They have to put a stone in the pyramid in every 2 minute. Was this possible in that time? It is still a mystery.
There are many more questions about the pyramid but no one know the reality.

TUTANKHAMUN

It took long time for Egyptians to achieve maximum accuracy to built the pyramid. Pyramids of Egypt were made with so much accuracy that you can't enter a pin into it. Although all the pyramid of Egypt are very much special but the pyramid of Tutankhamun is much more special. According to historians the Tutankhamun became the king when he was just 9 years old. And he was died in his early age (in 19 years). According to DNA test he was died because of Malaria. Johan Carter discovered the grave of Tutankhamun in 1922. Lot of gold and other things were found when king Tut body was found. The face of the king Tut was covered with a gold mask.

NEFERTITI

 Nefertiti is another name which is famous among the historians. She was assumed to be the most beautiful queen of the Egypt. Some historian say that Nefertiti was the mother of the king Tut but some say that she was the wife of king Tut. Historians are still finding the grave of Nefertiti. Some historians say that her grave is present at the pyramid of king tut. There was two secret doors inside the pyramid. But the historian afraid to search that area because of king Tut curse. It is also said that people of  John Carter team loose their life because of this curse.

Nefertiti and pyramid of Giza is not only the mystery attach with the pyramids of Egypt. The main question is that, Is they people of Egypt made those pyramid just only to bury their king? or something other is present there which we don't know. If we deeply study the design of pyramid than we found that the use of pie(3.141) is done there. It means that they have discovered the physical quantity in early age also. It is also believed that the they were also made the telescope also. The top of pyramid is directed to pole star. There are several explanations also which show that these instruments are not just made to bury the king but they are also used to study the geographical and space movements.

So we can only say that the pyramid contain many mysteries in between them. May be with the passage of time we can reveal them.

Sometimes we want to touch the sky but it isn't possible. There are many mountains which are so much high that if anyone reaches at the top of those mountains one thinks that he is above the sky.

Mount Everest

1. MOUNT EVEREST:-
At present the world largest mountain is mount Everest. It is about 8,848 meters high above the sea level. It is situated in Nepal. The average temperature of Mount Everest is about -36 degree Celsius. It can drop up to -66 Degree Celsius. It possesses a lot of  difficulties to the mountaineers. It has many names like, in Nepal, it is known as Sagarmatha and in china as Chomolungma. EDMUND HILLARY (from New-Zealand) and TENZING NORGAY (from Nepal) were the first who reached the top of the Mount Everest on 29 may 1953.

The first woman who reached the Mount Everest was JUNKO TABEI. About 4000 people have reached the top of mount Everest till now. These people includes a  13 year old boy, a blind person and a 73 years old Japanese lady also. The best time to climb Mount Everest is form March to May. There are about 19 routes to climb the Mount Everest .There are many people who loose their life when they are climbing to mount Everest. About 90% of the people loose their life in the last 800 meter of climbing. This area is also called as the Dead Zone. If anybody want to climb on the Mount Everest he has to give about 11000$ to government. About 2-3 months are needed to climb the Mount Everest. It is so much difficult to reach at the top of Mount Everest that one out of 10 people dies there. The conditions at the Mount Everest are so much bad that if somebody loose their life there, then his/her dead body remains only there because of lack of resources to take it(dead body) to the base camp. If you want to climb the Mount Everest perhaps you can see the dead bodies of the mountaineers who loose in their life in attempt to reach the top of the mountain.

2. K2:


K2 or  Mount Godwin Austin

It is the second highest Mountain in the world. It is also known as Mount Godwin Austen or Chhogori.  It is about 8611 meters high above the sea level. Achille Compagnoni, Lino lacedelli were the first who climb on the K2. K2 is the national mountain of the Pakistan.
Some common information about K2 is:

LOCATION: Baltistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan.
RANGE: Karakoram.
PROMINANCE: 4,017 meter (13,179 feet.

It is believed that this mountain is much harder to climb by the mountaineers because of its very drastic weather condition. Many people loose their life when they try to reach the top of K2. This mountain is also known as The Savage Mountain.

3.KANCHENJUNGA:

It is the third highest mountain in the world and lie partially in India and Nepal. It is the highest mountain of India. It is about 8,586 meter high above the sea level. It is the second highest mountain of Himalayas. It is at a distance of 125 km from Mount Everest. It is situated at the Kangchenjunga section of Himalayas. Before 1852 it is considered to be the world largest mountain but when the technology was develop it is found that Mount Everest is slightly bigger than Kanchenjunga. It is divided into 5 parts kangbachen, south, east, west and central out of which 3 are situated in India and the other two are in Nepal. It was first climbed by the Joe Brown and George Band on 25 may 1955. There are mainly four routes to climb this mountain out of which three are in Nepal and one is in India. There are some myths about this mountain. Some people say that a snow monster or ' YETI ' lives there. Many people also say that they had seen this monster.

 4. LHOTSE SHAR:

It is fourth largest mountain of the world and is situated in China (Tibet autonomous region), Nepal (khumbu). It's height is about 8,516 meter. On 12 may 1970 , first human reached the top of the LHOTSE SHAR.He was  Seep Mayrel  to climb the mountain for the first time. It is considered to be the dead point of the mountaineers. In this mountain the death rate is very much high.It is the part of Mahalangur Himal.


5. MAKALU :

It is the fifth largest mountain of the world. It is located at the border of Nepal and China. It is about 8,481 meters above the sea level. It is located in the MAHALANGUR HIMALAYAS and is about 19 km southeast of MOUNT EVEREST. Lionel Terray and Jean Couzy were the first who climb the Makalu on 15 May 1955. The easiest route to climb MAKALU is snow/ice climb. The structure of this mountain is quite similar to as a pyramid. MAKALU is always a fear for the mountaineers because of its steep pitches and  knife edges.

ANTARCTICA

Antarctica is the world southernmost continent. The term Antarctica was coined by the MARINUS OF TYRE. The south pole exists in  just middle of Antarctica. It is the fifth largest continent in the world and its area is about 14 million km square. It's size is about 1.5 time the size of Europe. About 99% of Antarctica's land is covered with snow. It is world's coldest and driest place. The lowest temperature measured by the man in Antarctica is -89.2 degree Celsius. It is the lowest temperature ever measured on earth. It was measured in 21 July 1983. The whole continent was covered with approx. one kilometer thick ice. No one resides there in Antarctica. There are many research stations of different countries present in Antarctica. India has also placed 3 work stations in Antarctica out of which 2 are running.

Population: No local residents but research stations of almost every country is present there so about 5000 temporary residents.

Species: Emperor penguin, Chinstrap penguin, Crab eater seal, Dusky dolphin, Wondering Albatross, Elephant seal, South polar skua, Killer Whale, Antarctic krill, Weddell seals.

HISTORY OF ANTARCTICA

In past it was believed that a vast continent known as TERRA AUSTRALIS believed to exist in the southern part of the globe.  CAPTAIN JAMES COOK and his crew were the first who crossed the Arctic circle and discovered the island of Antarctica but the main land was about 241 km from them. ROALD EMUNDSEN was the first person to reach the south pole. About 53 lakh years ago it was also a hot place. At that time its average temperature was always above 20 degree Celsius. At that time the palm tree was also present at the sea coast. No doubt at that time the Antarctica was not so much in the southern side, but due to the movement of tectonic plates this continent was shifted to the southern part.

FACTS ABOUT ANTARCTICA:

1. Antarctica even have some places where there is no snowfall over 20 lakh years. These are the huge mountains which are still covered with the 20 lakh years old ice.
2. Antarctica contained almost 90 % fresh water of the world but this fresh water is in the form of ice.
3.Antarctica and New-Zealand are the only place which doesn't contain any species of snake.
4.In Antarctica there was a nuclear station (known as McMurdo)also which was established by the America in 1962.
 5.It also has some places where the wind speed is about 350 km per hour.
6.It is the only continent which doesn't have any time zone.


EVIDENCES WHICH PROVE THAT THERE WAS A CIVILISATION IN ANTARCTICA:

The facts which tell us that there was a civilization in ANTARCTICA are:

 1. In 1929 historian found a map known as Piri Reis map which was made in 1513. This map contained detailed information about the mountains and peaks of Antarctica but the point which is to be noted is that in 1513 man doesn't know about the existence of Antarctica. Then who designed that map, its still a mystery.

2. Some American and European scientist also said that they have found pyramid shape buildings in the Antarctica. They observed these buildings when the snow melts to some extent. These buildings can be shown from the google map also. Many historian said that Antarctica have the oldest civilization in the world and their ancestors developed the other civilizations in the world.

3. In 2012 a satellite takes a photo of mighty structure which was about 14 mile long and can be easily seen. Every one thinks that there may be flourished an ancient civilization. But the NASA refused from this idea.

BERMUDA TRIANGLE MYSTERY

If we want to make a list of places which are full of mysteries, then most probably BERMUDA TRANGLE will be on first place on that list.  It is considered to be the most haunted/threatening place in the Atlantic ocean. The area within Bermuda island to Florida to Puerto Rico is known as Bermuda triangle.


This place is  much defamed because, many ships and aircrafts have disappeared from there under mysterious circumstances.

The first person who talked about the BERMUDA TRIANGLE was COLUMBUS (who discovered America). He said that when his ship entered in Bermuda triangle his compass stopped working. It start rotating round. The sea seemed to be unusual. He said that something unusual is definitely present there. But other people doesn't believed him. In 19th and 20th century many incidents started happening. Many ships and aircrafts started disappearing in that area and their remains not found till now.


The ships and aircrafts lost in THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE are listed below:

• 1800: USS Pickering, on course from Guadeloupe to Delaware, lost with 90 people on board.
• 1814: USS Wasp (1814), last known position was the Caribbean, lost with 140 people on board.
• 1824: USS Wild Cat (1822), on course from Cuba to Tompkins Island, lost with 14 people on board.
• 1840: Rosalie, found abandoned except for a canary.{Possibly the "Rossini" found derelict.
• 1918: USS Cyclops, collier, left Barbados on March 4, lost with all 306 crew and passengers en route to Baltimore, Maryland.
• 1921: January 31, Carroll A. Deering, five-masted schooner, Captain W. B. Wormell, found aground and abandoned at Diamond Shoals, near Cape Hatteras, North Carolina.
• 1925: 1 December, SS Cotopaxi, having departed Charleston, South Carolina two days earlier bound for Havana, Cuba, radioed a distress call reporting that the ship was sinking. She was officially listed as overdue on 31 December.
• 1941: USS Proteus (AC-9), lost with all 58 persons on board in heavy seas, having departed St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands with a cargo of bauxite on 23 November. The following month, her sister ship USS Nereus  was lost with all 61 persons on board, having also departed St. Thomas with a cargo of bauxite, on 10 December. According to research by Rear Admiral George van Deurs, USN, who was familiar with this type of ship from their service in the USN, the acidic coal cargo would seriously erode the longitudinal support beams, making these aging and poorly constructed colliers extremely vulnerable to breaking up in heavy seas. They were both sister ships of the USS Cyclops.
• 1945: December 5, Flight 19 (five TBF Avengers) lost with 14 airmen, and later the same day PBM Mariner BuNo 59225 lost with 13 airmen while searching for Flight 19.
• 1947: July 3, According to the Bermuda Triangle Legend a B-29 Super fortress was lost off Bermuda. Lawrence Kunsche investigated and found no reference to any such B-29 loss. In fact the aircraft loss was that of a Douglas C-54 which was lost in a storm off the Florida coast Ironically a B-29 was lost in the vicinity of Bermuda-on November 16, 1949 a B-29 was lost in the Atlantic; 2 crewmen were missing but on November 19, 1949 18 survivors were rescued 385 miles northeast of Bermuda^.
• 1948: January 30, Avro Tudor G-AHNP Star Tiger lost with six crew and 25 passengers, en route from Santa Maria Airport in the Azores to Kindley Field, Bermuda.
• 1948: December 28, Douglas DC-3 NC16002 lost with three crew and 36 passengers, en route from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Miami.
• 1949: January 17, Avro Tudor G-AGRE Star Ariel lost with seven crew and 13 passengers, en route from Kindley Field, Bermuda, to Kingston Airport, Jamaica.
• 1962: January 8, A USAF KB-50 51-0465 was lost over the Atlantic between the US East Coast and the Azores
• 1963: SS Marine Sulphur Queen, lost with 39 crewmen, having departed Beaumont, Texas, on 2 February with a cargo of 15,260 tons of sulphur. She was last heard from on 4 February, when she was in rough, nearly following seas of 16 feet, with northerly winds of 25-46 knots, and listed as missing two days later. The Coast Guard subsequently determined that the ship was unsafe and not seaworthy, and never should have sailed. The final report suggested four causes of the disaster, all due to poor design and maintenance of the ship.
• 1965: June 9, A USAF C-119 Flying Boxcar of the 440th Troop Carrier Wing missing between Florida and Grand Turk Island The last call from the plane came from a point just north of Crooked Island, Bahamas, and 177 miles from Grand Turk Island. On July 18, 1965 debris from the plane was found on the beach of Gold Rock Cay just off the northeastern shore of Acklins Island.
• 1965: December 6, Private ERCoupe F01 lost with pilot and one passenger, en route from Ft. Lauderdale to Grand Bahamas Island.
• 2005: June 20, A Piper-PA-23 disappeared between Treasure Cay island of Bahamas and Fort Pierce of Florida. There were three persons on board.
• 2007: April 10, A Piper PA-46-310P disappeared near Berry Island after flying into a level 6 thunderstorm and losing altitude. Two fatalities were listed.
• 2015: SS El Faro, sank off of the coast of the Bahamas within the triangle on October 1, 2015. The boat was missing for exactly one month until search crews identified the vessel 15,000 feet below the surface.

           2017: February 23, The Turkish Airlines flight TK183 (an Airbus A330-200) was forced to       change its direction from Havana, Cuba to Washington Dulles airport after some mechanical and electrical problems  occurred over the triangle.

TRUTH ABOUT BERMUDA TRIANGLE:

 When so many incidents happened in this area then many scientists investigated that where these ships go after they crashed. Some people say that there may be a time portal through which the ships move to new dimension. Some say that the aircraft crashed because of the jet streams which move in this region with a very high speed. No one is sure about the exact cause.The recent studies by scientists found a pyramid shape building under the BERMUDA TRIANGLE. The size of this pyramids is about 300 meter from base  200 meter high and distance from base of the tip to about 100 meters. On the top of the pyramid there are two large holes. Sea water moves with the high speed to the second hole, and therefore the ragging waves roll by forming a giant vortex that make the water move around this cause a huge serge wave and mist on the sea surfaces. The scientists think that this phenomenon is the victim.
Some people also relates this pyramid with the Atlantis city and said that it was part of that. Many investigations are still carried out by the researchers to know more about BERMUDA TRIANGLE.

PEOPLE VIEW ABOUT BERMUDA TRIANGLE

Many people including the American navy doesn't believe on THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE. They said that all incidents happened in the BERMUDA TRIANGLE were just result of the human errors. No supernatural power is behind it. One writer wrote that all the incident took place was just because of the human error. He also said that the pilots of the ships are also not that worthy. So these ships and aircrafts were crashed.
There are many people  present which even believe that there is something going wrong in the BERMUDA TRIANGLE because of which these ships and aircrafts crashed and may be in future our technology became so much advance so that we can revealed the truth behind it.

At last, I only want to say that at present we know only 5% about our oceans and if we are able to research at least 50% than most probably we will discover many new phenomenon and many more things which can change our life totally. For example at present we can't go to sun but if at the depth of sea we found a substance or algae which can handle a large amount of heat than we can make suit's of that substance and may be able to walk on the surface of sun......

Seven wonders of the ancient world

If we talk about the wonders of world than we think about THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA, THE TAJ MAHAL,PETRA,THE COLOSSEUM,CHICHEN ITZA,MACHU PICHU,CHRIST THE REEDEMER. No doubt you are correct, these are the seven wonders, but do you know that these are the new seven wonders. If we look in our history books then we will find that there were also some buildings which were designed in the past and now it seems to be challenge for modern man to construct  them. These buildings are considered as THE SEVEN ANCIENT WONDERS OF THE WORLD.

The seven ancient wonders of the world includes:
1.THE GREAT PYRAMID OF GIZA

LOCATION:  It is situated in Al Haram, Nazlet El- Semman, Al haram, Giza Governorate, Egypt.
Description: It is also known as Khufu's pyramid. It is the oldest wonder among the seven  ancient wonders and it is the only one which we can see now also. It was constructed in 2580-2560 b. c.Its height is about 139 meter and it's base is about 230 meters. It was made by approx. 23 lakh stones (each stone weighing about 30 ton).It is still a mystery how a stone weighing 30 ton was put to a height of 139 meter at that time. This pyramid was made with a good level of accuracy which is not yet achieve by modern man This pyramid remain the tallest man made building till Lincoln cathedral was completed(about 3800years).


2. HANGING GARDEN OF BABYLON:

Location: It's exact physical situation is yet unknown but it is believed that it was present in Iraq.
Description: According to recent theory It was believed that it was made by Assyrian king SENNACHERIB for his palace at Ninevevh. It was made in 600 B.C. It was the excellent work of engineering. It  seemed to be a mountain if we look it from a distance. The cause of its destruction is not known. Many historian also said that these gardens does not exist in reality it was just the myth. Many historian gave different different views about the existence of the hanging garden of Babylon.


3.STATUE OF ZEUS AT OLYMPIA GRECE:

LOCATION: It was placed in the temple of Olympia.
Description:It was constructed around 435 BC at the sanctuary of Olympia Greece and erected in the temple of Zeus. According to the Greek civilization the Zeus is consider to be the king of gods and this statue was made to honor him. It was made by the PHIDIAS. This statue contained gold, ebony, bronze, lvory as its constituent. It's height was about 13 meter. It was completely destructed by the massive fire around 5-6 century A.D. It's images can be seen on the old Greek coins.


4.THE TEMPLE OF ARTEMIS AT EPHESUS

LOCATION: Ataturk Mahallesi, Dr. Sabri yayla BLV., 35920 Seluck / Izmir, Turkey.

Description: It was also known as temple of DIANA.It was built around 550 BC and reconstructed around 323 BC. It took 120 years to made it. It's height was about 18 meter. This temple was constructed for the goddess of Artemis. This temple was an great masterpiece of ancient Greek architecture. It was completely rebuilt three time before it's final destruction at 401 AD.It was also think that it was also rebuilt by the great SIKANDAR. The historian says that it destroyed because of some natural disasters like earthquake etc.


5.THE MAUSOLEUM AT HALICARNASSUS

LOCATION: MAUSOLEUM at Halicarnassus, Tepecik Mahallesi,48440Bodrum / Mugla Turkey

Description: It was built around 353-350 BC. It was built for the Mausolus, a satrap in the Persian empire. It was about 150 feet high and made by the classical architecture. It was completely destroyed between 12-15 century by the massive earthquakes and other natural disasters like flood etc.



6.THE COLOSSUS OF RHODES

LOCATION: Rhodes 85100 GREECE.
Description: The construction of this statue as began in 292 BC. No one is sure about the exact location where this statue was placed. Many historian say that it was placed in city of Rhodes. This statue was constructed to celebrate the emperor Rhodes victory on the Cyprus. It was about 33 meter high. It remained the memorial of victory for about 54 years. In 226 BC it was completely destroyed by the earthquake.


7.THE LIGHT HOUSE AT ALEXANDRIA EGYPT:

LOCATION: Pharos, Alexandria Egypt.

Description: It is called Pharos of Alexandria. It was made on a small island called PHAROS.  It was built by the Ptolemaic kingdom between 280 and 247 BC. It is think that it was made by the blocks of limestone. It was designed to guide the ships in the sea. It's function is like a lighthouse. Some historian says that the light coming form this can be seen 31 miles away in the ocean. It's estimated height is about 120 to 137 meter. It was architect by the Sostratus of Cnidus. It was one of the tallest ancient seven wonders. It was completely destroyed by the earthquake and the storms. It's remain was used to construct other building. In 1994 a team of archeologists discovered its remains in the Alexandria's Eastern Habor.


So these are the seven wonders of ancient world. These buildings describes the level of engineering and  the level of architect skills of the ancient time...... 

INCREDIBLE WORLD

ello guys, Myself Ajay and today my blog is on THE PLACES WHICH HARDLY VISITED by human beings. Friends have you ever think that what is present at the backside of the earth, is there is only water?

 Most of this part is covered by the water so it may contain many new species of sea animals, fishes etc. As it contain many islands also out of which very few of the islands are visited by modern humans.it can be possible that there may leave people which are not in touch with technology yet they are living their life in their traditional ways. Guys that part of the earth is needed to be investigated.at present we say that  the deepest part of the sea is the CHALANGER DEEP in the MARIANA TRENCH.

But it can be possible that at that part of earth the depth of the sea is much more. Guys we all talk about the aliens we often talk that their spaceships are seen etc. etc.… if aliens are present in reality and if they can live in water, than that part of the earth is most suitable for them. Because they can easily come there and nobody can see them there.

Guys at last I just want to say that our planet contain so much places which is needed to investigate by us. We should investigate them might be by investigating that places we get the answer of many of other questions.
